A shadow teacher is a professional educator who works closely with a student who has special educational needs or learning disabilities. Shadow teachers are also known as learning support assistants. Our shadow teachers provide individualized learning assistance and support to a student within a mainstream or inclusive classroom setting. Our shadow teachers are qualified, skilled educators who work as a team with the school, classroom teacher and student.
